Today's Morning Edition music is from John Prine and Iris Dement with "Who's Gonna Take the Garbage Out," a duet first recorded by Ernest Tubb and Loretta Lynn.
It's one of a collection of duets on Prine's new album "For Better, or Worse," which comes out Friday.
Allison Krauss, Amanda Shires and his wife Fiona are among the women who team up with Prine to perform country songs about relationships.
For "I'm Telling You" Prine sings with Holly Williams, a song that her grandmother Audrey sang when she performed with Holly's grandfather Hank Williams.
