Today's Morning Edition music is from Joni Mitchell with "All I Want" from her acclaimed album "Blue."

Mitchell's music is the subject of an event Tuesday at the University of Minnesota's School of Music in Minneapolis. "Voice Seminar: The Songs of Joni Mitchell" is a community engagement lecture and recital featuring local musicians who will perform and discuss the singer/songwriter's compositional style, rise to stardom, musical legacy and even her paintings.

The free event starts at 2:30 p.m. and takes place in Ferguson Hall on the U of M's West Bank.
