Target has pulled almost all of the clown masks from their stores and online due to recent scares nationwide, a Target spokesperson confirmed Monday.
The decision comes just weeks before Halloween amid reports of creepy clowns on social media and public officials' pleas for pranksters to cut it out.

Meanwhile real clowns are lashing out at the pranksters for impersonating clowns.
Some Halloween costume chains have reported a spike in evil clown attire since the craze started a few months ago, but Target is the first to decline the profits.
