Body found in Mendota Heights
Authorities are investigating after a body was found in a wooded area in Mendota Heights.
Police say someone out for a hike Thanksgiving Day found the body in a park area just east of Interstate 35E and south of Minnesota Highway 110.
The body was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy and identification.
