In the weeks after an explosion killed eleven workers on the offshore oil rig Deepwater Horizon, survivor Mike Williams emerged as something of a hero.

Williams, who worked as the chief electronics technician on the rig, was one last people to leave the rig. His story is featured in the movie, "Deepwater Horizon."

He'll be in town this week as part of Heroes Among Us, a speaker series at Beth El Synagogue in St. Louis Park.

In advance of that event, he spoke with Tom Weber.
