'Tis the season for all things sweet. And around this time of year, Rick Nelson eats a lot of sweet things.
Nelson is the food critic for the Star Tribune — which means he's in charge of the paper's annual holiday cookie contest. Each year, he and his colleagues comb through hundreds of submissions, looking for delicious cookies, unique ingredients and good stories.
