Suspect in custody for slaying of 95-year-old Anoka man

Sheriff's officials say a man has been arrested in the death of a 95-year-old Anoka resident.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office said Thursday a 27-year-old Anoka man is being held in jail, but has not been formally charged in the slaying of Albert John Loehlein. He was found dead by a family member dropping off groceries at his home on Monday. He was last seen alive Thanksgiving evening when family members dropped him off at his home.

The suspect has been booked into jail on possible charges of murder and burglary.
