Winter hits hard after warm fall

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with University of Minnesota climatologist Mark Seeley about a sudden beginning to winter, especially for parts of western Minnesota where blizzard conditions hit recently.

Seeley also has a forecast for lower than average temperatures to stay in the state through Christmas.
