The Minnesota State Fair has had two record attendance days so far, and crowds again packed the streets Saturday to start the Labor Day Weekend.

Dan Dunn of Golden Valley took a Park and Ride bus to the fairgrounds. He arrived around 9 a.m. Saturday.

Despite the dense crowds, Dunn said he was surprised how quickly he was able to grab cookies at Sweet Martha's Cookie Jar.

"Some of the stands are pretty crowded, as you might expect, but you go to this cookie thing and there's like a thousand people there and you walk up and you're done with the line in five minutes," said Dunn. "They are very very efficient. Sometimes you look down the mall there and there's all heads, you don't see any bodies because they're all so close together. But it was fantastic. I love this."

Records were set this past Friday, with more than 187,000 visitors and last Monday, which had 144,000 visitors.
