This story first aired in October 1991.

This summer, St. Paul native and former Minnesota Twin Jack Morris will be enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

His most famous performance on the mound came in 1991 during game seven of the World Series. He started and finished the game, pitching 10 shutout innings to give the Twins a 1-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves.

MPR's Bill Wareham covered the game and talked to Twins pitcher Rick Aguilera, who was usually called on to pitch in the late innings of close games, about warming up several times but never going into the game.
