Delta to end group travel contract with NRA

Delta Air Lines said Saturday it will end its contract with the National Rifle Association for discounted group travel rates. Delta said it requested the NRA remove its travel program information from the NRA's website.

A handful of companies have ended discount programs with the NRA. The group has resisted calls for stricter gun control after a gunman killed 17 people at a Florida high school this month.

Delta's decision comes as petitions continue to circulate online targeting companies that offer discounts to NRA members.

Members of the NRA have access to special offers from partner companies on its website, ranging from life insurance to wine clubs.
