The golden streak for Minnesota athletes continues in South Korea this week. At the Paralympics on Monday, St. Cloud native Mike Schultz took gold in snowboard cross.

He did it using prosthetic gear that he designed himself. In fact, The Associated Press says around 30 athletes in this year's Games are wearing prosthetics made by Schultz.

He spoke with MPR News host Cathy Wurzer about his big win and what it's like to see his inventions worn by the competition.
