Louis Johnston is a professor of economics at St. John's University and the College of St. Benedict.

Gary Eichten is a retired Minnesota Public Radio host. He hosted the MIDDAY program for decades, and continues to host an annual year-end event with Chris Farrell and Louis Johnston.
