His last day of school: Kaler moves on from the University of Minnesota

The guard is changing at the University of Minnesota. On July 1, President Eric Kaler will step down after eight years leading the school.

It's a big job — with more than 60,000 students, multiple campuses and thousands of employees.

President Kaler's accomplishments have been far-reaching, but his tenure has also seen some turbulence with scandals in the athletics program and questions over research ethics at the university.

Eric Kaler joined host Kerri Miller in the studio an exit interview.
