Some years it feels like the NBA playoffs drag on for weeks: 16 teams playing in a series of best-of-seven showdowns. You don't hear that complaint this year. The teams are playing hard and playing with a lot of heart. Teams that have slumped through past seasons have been revived, and powerhouse teams have had to dig deep to defend their status.
