Film critic Kenneth Turan was among those at the Cannes Film Festival in France who got to see one of the most anticipated movies of the summer on Sunday. He discusses Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with Steve Inskeep.
Turan says the film's plot "is just an excuse to have really a pretty grand succession of stunts and special effects and physical stunts and swordfights and jumping and leaping and running. All the kind of stuff we've expected from Indiana Jones."
He says "that stuff is great," although the storyline and dialogue are not spectacular. "Overall, if you're looking forward to another Indiana Jones film, I think you'll be happy enough with this one," he says.
