Kaila White is a digital editor at MPR News, where she helps teams across the newsroom craft content and develop strategy to reach and grow online audiences. As part of that, she manages the MPR News "Street Team," which is a team of young reporters who create digital content to reach and reflect diverse Minnesotans 18 to 35. That includes overseeing social video strategy for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Prior to moving to Minneapolis in March 2022, she spent 10 years at The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com, which are part of the USA Today Network. There, she most recently led the daily breaking news team, launched a podcast team, and coached storytellers to perform in live events.
