Nathaniel Minor is an online producer for MPR News. He joined Minnesota Public Radio as an intern in 2009. He graduated with a B.A. in sociology and journalism from the University of St. Thomas and now works with the online news team from the Moorhead bureau. As a student, Nathaniel studied Islam in Turkey, was part of a sustainable agriculture development program in Mali, Africa, and extensively studied the representation of Somali-Americans in the Twin Cities media. Before moving to the Great Plains, he grew up in Superior, Wis., and still loves Lake Superior.
