During these last few weeks of the year, news organizations will release their list of the top stories of 2007, but what about the stories the media missed?

In the Twin Ciites, tune into 91.1 KNOW on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 6 p.m. to hear "In the Loop."

Those are the stories that MPR's "In the Loop" looked at: those stories that did not get as much coverage in 2007.

Here are some of the stories the media missed:

- The problems Muslim youth face in school;

- The growth of gay sports leagues;

- A Little Falls, Minn., woman, who at the age of 106, received her U.S. citizenship.

Tom Crann of MPR's All Things Considered sat down with Jeff Horwich, host of In the Loop, to discuss some of these stories that that received less attention during the previous year.
