* at 345 PM CDT... radar indicated a severe thunderstorm... capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located 3 miles southwest of Victoria... or about 23 miles west of Minneapolis... and moving northeast at 50 mph.

* Some locations include... Victoria... Mound... Chanhassen... Independence... Maple Plain... Excelsior... Minnetonka... Loretto... the Lake Minnetonka area... Hopkins... Plymouth... St Louis Park...

This storm has a history of producing nickel-sized hail.
