The digital TV conversion has been delayed to take place by June 12, but a lot of TV stations are making changes this month anyway. Perhaps no broadcaster in Minnesota has taken more advantage of the promise of digital television than Twin Cities Public Television.

TPT has had as many as seven digital services broadcasting at once, but starting midnight tonight, TPT will condense its services into 4 unique channels.

To talk about the new age of public television programming, All Things Considered invited TPT president and CEO Jim Pagliarini into our studios.

Many broadcasters say Congress shouldn't have delayed the DTV conversion and Tom Crann asked Pagliarini what he thinks about the intervention.
