The harsh winter isn't quite over yet in Minnesota.

The National Weather Service says snow will spread from North Dakota across much of northern Minnesota Monday. Northwestern Minnesota could see up to 5 inches of snow by late afternoon.

Cold air also will move into northwestern Minnesota. Temperatures could fall to 10 below zero by Tuesday morning.

Forecasters say another wave of heavy snow could fall across much of western and central Minnesota into the northwestern part of the state starting Tuesday. More than 6 inches of snow is possible in many parts of central and northeastern Minnesota.

Snow and strong winds may cause blizzard conditions across western Minnesota on Tuesday.
