Teen shooting victim's name released, friend arrested
A 17-year-old boy fatally shot at a home in St. Paul on Sunday has been identified, and his friend has been arrested.
Police said Justin Daniel Boecker of St. Paul was at a friend's house when he was shot. Boecker was in a room with the friend, a 21-year-old man, who witnesses said ran from the house after a shot was fired.
Boecker was dead at the scene with a single gunshot wound. Police found his friend Monday afternoon at another St. Paul home and arrested him.
Investigators planned to present their case to the Ramsey County Attorney's Office on Tuesday.
