The winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize for Literature will be announced Thursday morning. And there is growing belief, at least among gamblers, that Hibbing's own Bob Dylan has a good shot to win the award this year.

Ladbrokes, the London-based gambling company, takes bets on the Nobel Prize. The odds that Dylan will win have dropped from 100 to one a few days ago, to five to one right now, making him the favorite.

Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Donahue talked with Morning Edition host Phil Picardi about the betting interest in Dylan.
