Target Field readies for first concert

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Crews have been busy transforming the home of the Minnesota Twins into a concert venue.

Country stars Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw are co-headlining Target Field's first-ever concert Sunday evening. About 41,000 tickets sold out within hours back in December.

Twins spokesman Kevin Smith tells KSTP-TV that preparing the field is a 91-hour process. He says the outdoor stadium in downtown Minneapolis is likely to host one or two big concerts a year in the future.
