2 Minn. men die in Mille Lacs Lake car crash

ONAMIA, Minn. (AP) -- Two Minnesota men are dead after their car crossed Highway 169, rolled into a ditch and ended up in Mille Lacs Lake.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident happened just after midnight on Sunday morning. Killed were the driver, 37-year-old Andrew Nickaboine of Minneapolis, and front seat passenger 42-year-old Ronald Dorr of Columbia, Minn. Both men were transported to Onamia Hospital after the accident, where they were pronounced dead.

A backseat passenger, Keegan Morrison of Minneapolis, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
