If you are in the mood to see some live holiday music this weekend we have a few suggestions for you.

Alexander O'Neal will perform two Christmas shows at the Dakota Jazz Club in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Friday in Minneapolis, you can check out a show that has become a holiday tradition featuring the irreverent sounds of Trailer Trash. There will be performances of "The Trashy Little Christmas Show" Friday and Saturday night at Lee's Liquor Lounge near Target Field.

If your tastes are a bit more refined you might want to check out the Rose Ensemble. That group has been traveling around the state with a show called "¡Vamos a Belen! Christmas Revelry in Colonial Latin America." The Rose Ensemble will be performing Friday night at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in St. Paul and Saturday night at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis.
