Postal Service challenged by ND oil patch

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) -- The U.S. Postal Service is holding public meetings this week in the western North Dakota oil patch communities of Watford City, Williston and Tioga.

The Postal Service is working to manage growth and improve customer service in the rapidly growing oil patch. Dakotas District Manager Roy Reynolds will talk about plans to improve mail delivery and other services during the meetings and listen to concerns and suggestions from the public.

The Minot Daily News reports that the sessions are Tuesday night in the Watford City Civic Center, Wednesday night in Williston City Hall and Thursday afternoon in Tioga City Hall.
