Police ID teen girl killed in Maplewood
The police in Maplewood have identified a 16-year-old girl found dead on Saturday.
The girl, Anna Hurd, was a resident of North St Paul, the police said. She was found dead in the area of McKnight Road and Ripley Avenue in Maplewood.
An autopsy by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office showed that Hurd died of several stabbing-type puncture wounds, the police said.
On Saturday the police said they were seeking a man in connection with the case but now say he is no longer being sought.
