Car collides with school bus in S. Minn.

Two people were severely injured when their car collided with a school bus in southern Minnesota.

A school district administrator says none of the children or the bus driver was seriously hurt, although some may have minor injuries.

The crash happened about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near Adams. The Austin Daily Herald says the car reportedly spun out on the icy road and collided with the bus in the front.

Mower County Sheriff Terese Amazi says the car's driver and passenger were taken by ambulance to a Rochester hospital.

Officials of Southland Public Schools did not know how many students were on the bus or the extent of their injuries.
