The Hennepin County Attorney's office on Monday charged three suspected gang members in connection with a series of burglaries and shootings.
According to the complaint, Dementry Loyd, 19, Montrelle Collins, 20, and his brother Marlon Collins, 21, took part in a crime spree through parts of Minneapolis last year.
Loyd is accused of breaking into several Minneapolis homes and stealing thousands of dollars worth of electronic devices such as laptop computers, as well as handguns.
The complaint also accuses Loyd and the Collins brothers of shooting at a north Minneapolis home last September, while shouting the name of their gang. Prosecutors also charged Loyd and Marlon Collins in two previous and separate shooting incidents.
Last month, police searched the Collins' home and found a loaded 9mm Glock pistol fitted with an extended 30-round magazine hidden in a baby's crib.
Loyd's bail was set at $100,000, the other two men have court appearances scheduled for later this month.
