Black church leaders gather at Minn. Capitol

A group of Minnesota's black faith leaders and members of their congregations are holding a state Capitol rally on the 45th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King.

The group is gathering Thursday in the Capitol rotunda with an expected crowd of at least 200. It's organized by a group known as ISAIAH, a non-profit coalition of over 100 congregations from various faith traditions in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.

The participants plan to share stories and to challenge elected leaders to eliminate inequality, create new opportunities and repair damage from past injustice.
