Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page's foundation has supported the work of more than 5,000 scholars of all academic levels.

Lawyers, doctors and teachers are alumni of the Page Education Foundation, which celebrates its 25th anniversary with a gala at Target Field Saturday night. The gala will also mark the official release of his new picture book, "Alan and His Perfectly Pointy, Impossibly Perpendicular Pinky."

Page joined MPR's Tom Crann to talk about the foundation and its future, as well as his own.
