South Minneapolis shooting leaves man dead

Minneapolis police expect to have more details later Monday on an early morning shooting that left one man dead.

Police say officers responded to a shooting on the 35-hundred block of Chicago Avenue South shortly after midnight.

They found the man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he died. Homicide investigators are interviewing witnesses. No arrests have been made.
