Police: Forest Lake 'kidnapping' a hoax
Authorities in Forest Lake say a feared kidnapping turned out to be a prank.
Police had received reports of a woman being forced into a car trunk in the Forest Lake Wal-Mart parking lot. They later posted this video of the incident and asked the public for help identifying its subjects.

But Cpt. Greg Weiss says the mother of one of the juveniles contacted police to say it was a prank.
"Our office interviewed those involved, found video evidence on their phones, and we have determined the suspicious situation to be nothing more than an attempt at a prank," Weiss said in a statement.
