2 major road closings in western suburbs
Motorists should be aware of road closings on Highways 169 and 212 in the western suburbs this weekend.
Northbound lanes of Highway 169 are closed in a seven-mile stretch from Plymouth to Maple Grove. Crews will resurface the road between Highway 55 on the south to Interstate 94 and 694 on the north.
The road should reopen by rush hour on Monday, although work is scheduled to resume for the next three weekends.
Also this weekend, eastbound Highway 212 between the Crosstown and Interstate 494 in Eden Prairie is closed. It should reopen Monday.
