Delta Air working to get website, mobile app back online
The website and mobile application of Delta Air Lines were unavailable much of the day on Thursday.
But tonight the airline reported the website was functioning again. A Delta statement said the original outage was caused by overnight maintenance.
The statement does not mention the reported problems with Delta's mobile app.
A statement from the company said that flight operations were not affected.
Self-service kiosks at airports also were unaffected.
UPDATED STATEMENT FROM DELTA:
"Delta.com is functioning once again. Overnight maintenance caused the original performance issues for approximately four hours today. The issue occurred again for just over an additional hour later in the day before technology had fully stabilized. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers."
