Vandalized Minn. church offers $1K reward

A Mankato church is offering a $1,000 reward to try to find whoever broke stained-glass windows and damaged an elevator at the church.

Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church has been vandalized twice in recent months.

In the latest incident reported Oct. 25, two double-paned stained glass windows were broken and a thrown brick damaged an elevator inside the church. Damage is estimated at $7,200.

Surveillance video shows a male dressed in a dark top and light pants in the area between 2:15 a.m. and 3:15 a.m. Video also showed that person being picked by someone driving a larger-size vehicle.

Twelve church windows were broken in August.

The Free Press of Mankato reports anyone with information should call Mankato police.
