Son of ex-Twins owner suspended from law practice

A Minneapolis attorney has been suspended from practicing law for 90 days for allegedly sexually harassing one of his students.

The Minnesota Supreme Court says Clark Calvin Griffith II must petition to be reinstated once his suspension is over.

The 72-year-old Griffith is the son of former Twins owner Calvin Griffith.

Griffith was an adjunct professor at William Mitchell law school last year when he was accused of sexually harassing a 24-year-old student by exposing himself to her and forcing her to touch him. He entered an Alford plea to a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure.

Griffith tells The Associated Press he maintains his innocence. His case was vacated and dismissed in July. Griffith also says he doesn't understand the suspension, but the court can do what it wants.
