(AP) - The Walker Art Center says mini golf will return to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden next summer.

This time, the museum plans to have a full 18-hole course designed by Minnesota artists.

The Walker is looking for 10 new designs to join eight returning holes. Design submissions are being accepted until Jan. 10, 2014.

This time, artists will only have to submit designs, not build and maintain the selected holes. The Walker will fabricate and maintain the holes, allowing more artists, designers and architects to participate.

Applicants must be based in Minnesota and registered with mnartists.org. Submissions will be accepted from either individuals or teams.

"Walker on the Green" will be open May 22 and run until September 2014.
