Our friends over at the Current have unveiled a number of best of lists for 2013, including the top concerts of the year. 

 was the Americanarama show at Midway stadium in St. Paul, featuring Richard Thompson, My Morning Jacket, Wilco, Trampled By Turtles and Bob Dylan.


A highlight was when Dylan paid tribute to his old friend Bobby Vee who was in the audience.  Dylan began his professional career playing piano in Bobby Vee's band. 

At that show in July, Dylan performed Vee's song "Suzy Baby." Click the audio player above to hear the performance.

Our friends over at the Current have unveiled a number of "Best of" lists for 2013.  The audience voted on the best songs, best albums, best new artists, best videos and best live shows.  The top choice in that category was the Americanarama tour stop at Midway stadium in St. Paul.  That show featured Richard Thompson, My Morning Jacket, Wilco, Trampled By Turtles and Bob Dylan.  The highlight for many in attendance was when Dylan paid tribute to his old friend Bobby Vee who was in the audience.  Dylan began his professional career playing piano in Bobby Vee's band.
