2 killed in head-on collision near Mankato

The Minnesota State Patrol says at least two vehicles have collided head-on near Mankato, leaving two people dead.

A KSTP-TV report says the collision happened Sunday about 1 p.m. on Highway 169 in St. Peter.

A Mankato Free Press report says at least two vehicles were totaled. It's not immediately clear whether other vehicles were involved as well. It's also not known how many people were in the vehicles or whether there were injuries.
