Epidemiologist Dr. William Foege gives a philosophy-laden keynote address about the role of public health in contributing to world peace. Dr. Foege says there is a direct connection between better health and an environment that reduces the chance of violence and war. He spoke March 8th at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum in Minneapolis, sponsored by Augsburg College and the University of Minnesota Humphrey School.
