Mpls. teardown moratorium decision delayed
A Minneapolis City Council committee has delayed a decision on a moratorium on building new houses in the southwest corner of the city.
The council imposed the moratorium earlier this month in five neighborhoods at the epicenter of an unprecedented building boom.
After two hours of impassioned public testimony, the zoning and planning committee postponed a decision on whether to keep the moratorium in place for two weeks.
