At the 2014 MPR Top Coast Festival, Tom Weber interviewed science writer Maggie Koerth-Baker.

Koerth-Baker of BoingBoing.net looks at the limits of medical science in a current world of bioethics that can limit testing medicines and procedures on humans. She discussed "the history of human experimentation, the current limits we face, and possible breakthroughs in medicine and experimentation that could lead to more effective treatments."

Her latest book is "Before the Lights Go Out."
