On this day forty years ago, August 8, 1974, President Richard Nixon announced he would resign the presidency.

Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward broke the Watergate story, and they joined Elizabeth Drew before a packed house at the Washington Post on July 30, 2014 to talk about how the President was held accountable to the courts, the Congress, and the American people.
