Minnesota's foremost authority on Russia, Nick Hayes, says the level of tension and acrimony in US-Russian relations is at a level not seen since the Cold War. Hayes holds the Chair in Critical Thinking at St. John's University, and he gave a wide-ranging lecture last week titled, "Putin vs. Obama: The new Cold War?" Hayes spoke at the Selim Center at the University of St. Thomas.
