I-35W bridge to be lit in French national colors

A Minneapolis bridge has joined other structures around the world in showing support for France after the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the I-35W Bridge will be lit in the French national colors Sunday night. The bridge was also lit in those colors Saturday night.

Other structures worldwide have been lit up in the colors of the French flag - blue, white and red - in tribute to the Paris victims.

In Minneapolis, a Twin Cities group that promotes French language and culture plans a memorial march and service Sunday.

The march starts at 2 p.m. at Alliance Francaise in the Minneapolis Warehouse District. The march will go down Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis to the Basilica of Saint Mary, where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m.
