Tuesday morning, seventh district DFLer Collin Peterson joined MPR News host Tom Weber from MPR's bureau in Moorhead.

He spoke about the latest on the Red River diversion program, which would offer Fargo-Moorhead flood protection and is still working its way through the approval process and still hasn't been fully funded.

They also discussed Peterson's effort to take the gray wolf off the Endangered Species list; that language did not end up in the big budget bill Congress passed this month.

And Peterson discussed his vote for legislation last month that would add procedures for the admission of Iraqi and Syrian refugees to America.
