State Sen. Sandy Pappas says Franken should not resign

U.S. Sen. Al Franken returned to work this week while he awaits a Senate Ethics Committee investigation into sexual misconduct allegations leveled against him by four different women.

There have been calls for his resignation, but more than 60 DFL women, including female lawmakers, civic leaders and party activists said Franken should not resign in a public letter in support of the senator.

One of the names on that letter is state Sen. Sandy Pappas of St. Paul. She spoke with MPR News host Cathy Wurzer.
